Borrison Ivy are a relatively new band to the Dubai original rock music scene, being formed in January 2008, but one which is already becoming well known. In 10 months the band have been featured on radio, newspapers and magazines - also played at hugely well received gigs in three different emirates.

Borrison Ivy focus on catchy, melodic, original, thumping rock music. The lyrics are plain and simple and about a variety of contemporary issues that affect all of us. Borrison Ivy's aim is for the audience to dance to the rhythm, sing along to the melodic choruses and feel rapport with the message of the lyrics.

The band members are Indian Nikhil Uzgare on vocals, Filipino Quay on bass, Scotsman Marc McWilliam on drums and Australian Richard Barber on guitar.
